SHOPFEST was founded in 2010 by Dee, with the aim of providing independent creative professionals bespoke events to showcase their work, promote their business and network.
Our events portfolio to date has included locations in Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire. We have hosted events in Horsham, Crawley, Warnham & Hampshire. Our biggest events to date were at Longstock Park Nursery, Leckford Estate, which is owned by the John Lewis Partnership and managed by Waitrose with 100 exhibitors. Denbies Wine Estate, Dorking has also grown in size with each event now welcoming 80+ exhibitors. In addition to the events The SHOPFEST Craft & Gift shop in Horsham offered traders and other crafty creatives an opportunity to showcase their work for sale in a professional retail environment, we had a fantastic run until the expiry of the lease in 2015.
This is our 10th year of hosting bespoke craft and gift shopping events. We added The Handmade Affair to SHOPFEST in 2018 to help support Artists, Makers & Creatives by offering subsidised exhibitor costs at some of our events. In 2019 we added creative workshops to some events and Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens to our portfolio.
So whether you want to get creative yourself, buy a beautiful gift that you could not buy on the high street, or buy some delicious food from a specialist gourmet *food maker (*Surrey & online vents only), or simply enjoy a day of wonderful day in Surrey or Sussex we really do aim to provide a great family day out for everyone.
